Östersjön – the game

An eco balance game for a museum, where the game is projected on a big video wall and controlled by physical controls in front of the screen.

The game aims to teach museum visitors about the ecosystem balance of Östersjön. By adding components to the ecosystem the player’s goal is to get the balance right and keep the sea in a healthy state.

My part of the project was the programming. The physical setup and sound engineering was done by David and Jens of Teenage Engineering and the graphics were created by Jonas Löfgren. It was very interesting to write the engine and AI – fascinating to see the sea come alive.
